Perugia - home of Italian chocolate
Went to Perugia this morning to go shopping for Easter Eggs.Despite being the centre of Italian chocolate manufacture and the home of an annual chocolate festival the choice on offer was remarkably limited. Just as we were despairing of finding something that wasn't made by a Swiss multi-national we came across a wonderful little store brimming over with eggs of every size and colour . A glorious day with the town showing some signs that the tourists were returning although hotel bookings are said to be down 20% from year ago levels.
