Problems posting and responding to comments

Many thanks to all of you who sent comments of encouragement and support after our recent burglary. They were all very much appreciated. Unfortunately , we seem to have a problem with Windows Vista (?) and many of the original comments and our responses seem to have been lost in the ether.
